Ingredients

Prunus armeniaca.

While apricot kernel oil may be extracted from the inedible pit of the fruit, its benefits are nothing short of delicious. Lightweight and easily absorbed, it helps skin retain elasticity, clarity and suppleness without any greasiness. It is also naturally rich in oleic and linoleic acids, and vitamins A and E.

Styrax benzoin.

A resin that naturally drips from the Styrax trees, this forms the roots of our fragrance’s base notes. Each inhale of Benzoin resin is an indulgence—a sensorial ignition of the imagination, arousing senses and emotions with flirtatiously sweet balsamic notes that are similar to vanilla, yet somehow more serendipitous.

Borago officinalis.

Cold-pressed borage seed oil is the richest source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA) available— abundantly filled with up to 25 percent. It is also resplendent in vitamins and minerals to luxuriously nourish the skin.

Every bit as delicious and decadent as it sounds, butter extract taps into a gourmand, savoury set of heart notes. Creamy and edible, it is pure Epicurean elegance.

An ingredient that is an indulgence; caramel extract brings an element of gourmand to our botanical perfumery. The word ‘sweet’ would do it an injustice—caramel extract is sugary, creamy and tantalizing to the tastebuds.

Acacia farnesiana.

A shrub may not be the first place you would think of for a luxurious, lustrous scent, but botanical perfumery finds fragrances all over the natural world. Cassie flower absolute comes from the blossoms of a small shrub; the scent is a herbaceous heart note, with warm, powdery qualities and blushing balsamic undertones.

Theobroma cacao.

Cocoa trees originate in Central and South America, where their beans have been consumed for over 5,000 years. The cocoa extract in our fragrances will have you more hungry than ‘history’, though. A simplified, sophisticated hint of chocolate, it is seductive—shamelessly mouthwatering and meant to be savoured.

Caprylic, Capric triglyceride.

A natural dispersing agent that helps fragrances and essential oils soak into skin, it is as good for you as it smells and tastes. Not only does coconut oil moisturize, but it maximizes the Cūrata sensorial experience with its velvety texture.

Plumeria alba.

Frangipani is better known as plumeria. Though this tropical treat is found in the South Pacific Islands, the scent feels in synch with women from the urban jungle. Frangipani absolute is evocative of white flowers, while staying true to its southern roots with fresh, suave and tenacious heart notes.

Citrus paradisi.

This tantalizing, tart top note is as bright and fresh as the fruit it is extracted from. Grapefruit essential oil is taken from the rind or the peel, which smells more delicious than it tastes.

Psidium guajava.

A steamy tropical love affair—with every breath. Guava fruit extract is a scent story from the Southern Hemisphere. It is naturally fruity yet finessed, with subtle gourmand notes of toffee. The secret? The fragrance is extracted from the guava’s flesh instead of the seed.

Jasminum grandiflorum.

A delicate, evergreen shrub found in China and India, jasmine can be recognized by its green leaves and small, white star-shaped flowers. These are picked at night, when the sensual, seductive fragrance is most powerful. Jasmine flower absolute is no wallflower; powerful and bold, it has a balanced sweetness and vibrant floral notes. This warm, visceral heart note is fruity-oily deliciousness.

A protective oil so natural, it resembles the one our own bodies produce. Drawn from olive oil, spread some across skin for a light, superior anti-bacterial barrier that prevents moisture loss and protects against environmental damages. Additionally, olive squalane also helps other oils penetrate deeper into the dermis, while leaving it soft, smooth, healthy and hydrated.

Citrus sinensis.

Citrus is an inviting, invigorating scent. Orange peel essential oil brings a nuanced, nostalgic sweetness to the top notes of our fragrances.

Camellia oleifera.

Grown from the Himalayas to the rainforests of Indonesia, this wildflower is sprouting up in clean beauty products as a natural strengthener, moisturizer and conditioner for hair, skin and nails. Used for centuries by the Chinese and Japanese, cold-pressed organic camellia seed oil keeps the good in and the bad out; easily absorbed and nourishing, it protects skin against external environmental dangers while keeping it soft as butter without any greasiness.

Oenothera biennis.

This flower has power. Our evening primrose oil is unrefined, maintaining its omega fatty acids, gamma-linoleic acid and most of its nutrients. A dab on the skin can strengthen its outer barrier, deeply hydrating and preventing moisture loss, while also soothing inflammation and redness.

Citrus aurantium.

Like an orange blossom in bloom, this essential oil has a scent that is effortless, elemental and elegant — much like the women who love it. Organic neroli oil is a powerful yet light top or heart note that is a scent symphony of botanical perfumery, with green, citrus and earthy floral allusions. Extracted from the delicate flowers of the bitter orange tree, it is also full of vitamin C.

Cymbopogon martinii.

Extracted from a grass originating on the Indian subcontinent, Palmarosa oil has a top note that flirts with hints of tea and rose. Additionally, it also has antibacterial and moisturizing properties.

Ethyl alcohol.

Corn ethanol has a neutral profile, allowing the other ingredients in our botanical perfumery to shine. By contrast, ethanols from cane, grapes and wheat produce their own uniquely profiled distillate that can be smelled and tasted. Organic corn alcohol is the purest platform for all our fragrances’ notes to harmonize perfectly.

Hippophae rhamnoides.

Beauty comes in small packages. Sea Buckthorn berries can be found across the northern regions of the Old World and these flamboyant, bright fruits will have your skin glowing. They are reputed to be the highest vegetal source of vitamin C and E, unsaturated fatty acids, essential amino acids and beta-carotene, which gives them that fabulous Amber colour.

Prunus amygdalus.

It sounds delicious to taste and it is divine to touch; lightweight and deeply penetrating, massaging some into skin naturally softens and reconditions while soothing dryness and irritation. Treat yourself — cold-pressed organic sweet almond oil is rich in natural, nourishing gifts including proteins, monounsaturated fatty acids, olein glyceride linoleic acid, potassium, zinc and vitamins D and E.

Rosa Moschata.

While roses may best be known for their romantic aroma, the oil extracted from the fruit of the rose bush has results that are equally as beautiful. In warm red-orange hues, rosehip seed oil soaks into the body and provides antioxidant fortification. Harmonious with all skin types, this natural moisturizer soothes inflammation and irritation, and rejuvenates and restores elasticity to make skin happy and healthy. It contains vitamins A and C, as well as essential fatty acids omega 3 and 6.

Rosemarinus Officinalis L.

Much like the women who love it, this ingredient has the strength to hold everything together. Rosemary extract is a pure antioxidant taken from the plant’s leaves. It also stabilizes other oils and is a natural preservative.

Polianthes tuberosa.

A sublime union of the exotic and elegant, tuberose extract features heavy floral notes that languidly nuance with the savoury sweetness of butter and honey. While you cannot buy happiness, this is perfume proof you can bottle it.

Vanilla planifolia.

Vanilla is anything but boring. This dynamic, delicious ingredient is extracted from the pod of an orchid vine native to Mexico. Vanilla bean extract’s sweet, intoxicating scent adds divine dimensionality and depth to fragrances, while infusing them with warmth and emotional engagement. Additionally, it also is a natural preservative and source of vitamin B.

Viola odorata.

As the name would imply, violet leaf absolute is extracted from the leaves. A wonder of botanical perfumery, it remains true to its green leaf profile yet exudes the additional complexity of delicate, elegant floral heart notes.

Tocopherol.

Our vitamin E is among the most natural, active tocopherols available — derived from 100 percent non-GMO sunflower seeds and is considered hypoallergenic. A natural emulsifier and moisturizer, it combats dryness and neutralizes free radicals caused by the sun and environmental irritants; a little massaged into skin leaves it soft and supple.
